The organizers of the parade, Retro Car Club "Avangard", combined the color and charm of classic cars with the celebrations of Bulgaria's Independence Day.
The area around the town's central square welcomed the participants, who, together with the guests of the event, became part of the cultural and historical program prepared by the organizers. A unique fair was formed on the square with numerous tents of local companies and producers, offering free tastings for the guests, as well as stalls with art creations related to Bulgaria and the holiday. Musical, artistic, and historical reenactments of the events leading up to this memorable date, the ceremonial raising of the Bulgarian flag, and the laying of wreaths for the fallen heroes enhanced the feeling of patriotism. The event was hosted by the rap star Igrata, and the patron of the parade was the mayor of Kostinbrod, Trayko Mladenov, who delivered a welcoming speech.
Rollplast supports such initiatives to preserve the Bulgarian self-awareness, to continue raising the authority of Bulgaria, following the path of the fundamental Bulgarian ideals of freedom and independence.
