"Tell about Your Bulgaria"

On June 13th, the premiere of the book "Tell about Your Bulgaria" took place at the summer cinema "Kabana". The book collects the best essays from participants in the student competition "Workshop for Reporters." The competition was created by Desislava Vasileva, the owner of "Idea PR & Advertising." The competition is intended for students from 9th to 12th grade and has a 6-year history. Participants receive training and prepare materials in genres such as essays, reports, commentaries, interviews, and travelogues under the mentorship of popular journalists and professionals in the field.

"Rollplast" supported the project by providing awards to the competition finalists during the period from 2018 to 2020. They are also involved as sponsors for the publication of the book "Tell about Your Bulgaria."

The event began with a reading of an essay excerpt by Evelina Pavlova, a radio and TV journalist. Desislava Vasileva then delivered a welcome speech, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the realization of the idea. Special guests included Miroslav Borshosh, Deputy Mayor for "Culture, Education, Sports, and Youth Activities" in the Sofia Municipality, as well as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Stella Angova, Head of the Department of "Media and Public Communications" at UNSS.

In "Tell about Your Bulgaria," young talents intriguingly illustrate the historical, cultural, and natural treasures of our country. They showcase "The Good Example" through prominent and inspiring figures from our past and present, directing the reader's focus towards what is truly valuable and important, which we can discover in the concepts of home, ancestry, and homeland.
